In this guide, we will go over some common troubleshooting tips to help you get the most out of your TOQi 510 Wireless Vaporizer.
- Silver Caps
One of the most common issues that users experience is with the silver caps. This issue is caused by putting pressure on the unit while a cartridge is attached. We have done our best to update the engineering of the device however applying pressure can cause the unit to crack. For example, if placed in your pocket and sat on. This can cause the 510 thread to start wiggling and cracks to appear where the body and silver cap are attached. We are happy to warranty this under the One Year Warranty.

To avoid this issue, we recommend removing the cartridge when you are not using the pen and placing both items safely in the provided TOQi pouch. This will help protect your vape battery and prevent any unnecessary damage.
- Wireless Charging or USB-C Charging Issues
If you are using wireless charging (Qi), make sure that the pen is properly lined up and facing the correct way. The button should be facing up and align the center hole of the TOQi 510 to the center of your wireless charging pad. If you’re using the TOQi Wireless Charging Pad, make sure you can see the TOQi logo through the center hole on the vape battery.
If you are charging via USB-C, use the provided USB-C cable and 2 amp USB-A plug included with your TOQi 510. To avoid fire hazards during charging ensure you use a USB-C cable rated for 2 amp or above. As well, remove any 510 cartridge installed before charging your TOQi 510.
It takes the TOQi 510 40 minutes to reach 100% from a dead battery. The vape battery will flash green once it reaches 100%.
- No Smoke/Not Vaping
If your vape battery is not producing smoke even though you are pressing the button and the stays on for the 8 seconds, it may be due to charging the unit with a 510 cartridge still installed. This can cause the concentrate to leak out of the cartridge and damage the unit from within.
To avoid this issue, we recommend removing the cartridge while charging the pen. You can use the TOQi 510 Cartridge Holder to store up to 6 510 cartridges safely while your TOQi 510 charges.
- Short-Circuity Protection
If your vape battery flashes rainbow and suddenly dies your TOQi 510 has auto shutoff to protect the unit from damage. To reset the TOQi 510 and turn it back on simply plug in and charge your vape battery.
- TOQi Battery Isn’t Recognizing Your 510 Cartridge
If you are having trouble with the battery recognizing the cartridge, unscrew the cartridge and inspect the 510 thread area. If it has debris build up you will need to clean the thread area of the TOQi 510 and 510 cartridge with a q-tip dipped in isopropyl alcohol. If there is no debris build-up check the 510 cartridge and make sure when twisting on the cartridge the TOQi 510 flashes green two times to indicate it has recognized the installed cartridge.
