On September 30th, TOQi CEO and Founder Drew Henson had the pleasure of attending MJ Unpacked, an exciting event that brought together a ton of like-minded cannabis enthusiasts. With 1,400 exhibitors in 280,000 square feet spread across two halls and a private lobby, 30,000 attendees from all over the world, and 180+ speakers presented to an intimate crowd of 3000 VIPs and sponsors on stage. It was one of the most significant and engaging events #teamTOQi attended in 2022!
The MJ Unpacked Conference in Las Vegas fosters strong connections and experience, all under one roof. The professionals, investors, and entrepreneurs that attend build lasting relationships in a profoundly personal and intimate setting. It is also the event that was coordinated alongside the Clio Cannabis Awards, where our team took home two Bronze Medals.
The event showcased multiple of emerging and established companies that offer products for people who enjoy cannabis, including TOQi’s Product Gallery featuring our 510 Wireless Vaporizer, 510 Dab Cartridge, and Wireless Power Bank.
Who We Met
TOQi’s highlight was enjoying the Black Women Get Us Higher panel discussion moderated by Kika Keith and joined by Tiana Woodruff and Mskindness Ramirez.
Team TOQi was also able to meet Mary Bailey, the Managing Director of the Last Prisoner Project, who distributed almost $1,000,000 in 2022 through their Re-entry program.
Brands and Platforms
Another major highlight of our time at MJ Unpacked was getting to know James Viktor and John Hunt from the James Henry team. James Henry is a Black-Owned Luxe Cannabis Equity Brand in California focusing on easy-to-identify experiences with cannabis dispensary customers. Finally, a huge shout-out goes to Respect My Region – a clothing line from Central Washinton turned lifestyle-music platform. They support local brands, creatives, and artists that value community and culture.
We can’t wait for MJ Unpacked New York in 2023!
